Morning yoga class in beautiful natural light

Choosing a Class Time

Find the perfect class time to fit your lifestyle.

Most hot yoga studios spread classes through the day, from early mornings to late evenings, so a class can usually be fitted around work. This page describes the typical pattern; each studio publishes its own timetable.

How the Day Usually Runs

A typical week mixes class types across the day:

Morning Classes

Early classes suit people who practice before work, often with a full 90-minute class or a shorter express class.

Midday Classes

Lunchtime slots are commonly 60-minute express classes that fit into a break.

Afternoon Classes

Afternoon slots are often quieter, with Yin or a full class for people with flexible schedules.

Evening Classes

Evenings are usually the busiest slots after work, so booking ahead tends to matter most. Studios often include Flow, Yin or Restorative classes to wind down.

Weekends

Weekend timetables often add longer classes, Power or Flow sessions and workshops.

Booking and Arrival

Most studios take drop-ins but recommend booking in advance, especially for popular evening and weekend classes.

New students are usually asked to arrive about 15 minutes early to register and get oriented; returning students tend to arrive 5-10 minutes before class to set up their mat and settle in.

Cancellation Policies

Studios set their own cancellation windows, often a few hours before class, and some restrict booking after repeated late cancellations. Check the policy when you first book.
